Financial Information

For non-European students, the program fees are € 8,500 per year.

For European students,the program fees are € 4,250 per year.

A limited number of partial fee waivers may be available for individual intakes, see point 2 in the section Available scholarships for details.

The LCT program fees cover:

  • the registration fees of the local universities;
  • administrative support at the host universities;
  • standard insurance scheme;
  • instruction and access to resources at the assigned universities;
  • selected travel or other expenses directly related to the study in the LCT program, if approved by the consortium.

1. Erasmus Mundus Scholarships

Not available for the intake 2025.

2. Consortium Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships taking the form of a fee reduction may be available for self-funding students of the intake 2025, this will be announced at a later time. Preference will be given to students with excellent qualifications from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. You can apply for it during a week after you receive the notification of acceptance.

3a. Erasmus+

LCT students without the Erasmus Mundus scholarship may be eligible to apply for Erasmus+ support for the second program year. These grants can carry a small monthly allowance. The application is done via the International Office of the first year university. Deadlines for the application vary depending on the partner university, but are usually sometime in spring. Be sure to begin the process in good time by contacting the International Office of your first-year university.

3b. Erasmus+ Internships

If you are a current LCT student and have not previously had Erasmus funding, you may be eligible for support under the Erasmus+ internship program to do a short or medium term internship in another European country. Your contact point is the International Office at your current institution.

5. European Loan Program for EU Residents:

ERASMUS+ MASTER LOANS

Self-financing residents of a program country may be eligible to apply for an EU-sponsored loan scheme, offered at favorable conditions. The loans are up to € 12,000  for a one-year Master's program and up to € 18,000  for an up to two-year Master's program and can cover both living and tuition costs in any of the 33 Erasmus+ Programme Countries.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible students must:

  • Be a resident of one of the Erasmus+ Programme Countries.
  • Have successfully completed first-cycle higher education studies (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) and have been accepted for a second- cycle program (Master's degree or equivalent) at a recognized higher education institution (HEI) which holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE).

The Master's (or equivalent) that they intend to study must:

  • be delivered in a different country from their country of residence and from where they obtained their Bachelor's degree (or the equivalent degree which is giving them access to the Master's program)
  • be a full program that will lead to a degree.
