Program Overview


The Erasmus Mundus European Masters Program in Language and Communication Technologies (LCT) is designed to meet the demands of industry and research in a rapidly growing area. It offers education and training opportunities for the next generations of leaders in research and innovation. It provides students with profound knowledge and insight into the various disciplines that contribute to the methods of language and communication technologies and it strengthens their ability to work according to scientific methods. LCT Annual meeting 2022

The LCT Annual Meeting 2022 will be held on June 23-24, 2022. Our host will be the University of the Basque Country, although it is not yet known whether this will be a hybrid/physical meeting, or online only. All alumni are invited to participate; the meeting is mandatory for currently enrolled students. More information will be published here as it becomes available.
Summer School 2022

The LCT Summer School will be held on August 29 - September 02, 2022. The host will be Saarland University, although it is not yet known whether this event will be held in a hybrid/physical form, or online only. The Summer School is mandatory for all incoming students (intake 2022) and for all students transiting to year 2. More information will be published here as planning progresses.
Application Opening

Application for intake 2022 is now OPEN. All correct, timely, and complete applications will be considered for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship. The deadline for intake 2022 is published here.

NB: The planned update of the application form will be implemented at a later time. Therefore, it is not necessary to delay your application. Please proceed to complete the application using the current application form, observing the published deadline.

Research and Partnership

As an international distributed Master of Science/Arts course, the European Masters Program in Language and Communication Technologies (LCT) currently has nine universities in Europe and Asia-Pacific regions taking part in.
